Tracking some tweaks needed for 2016 data to work within Explorer.
All
dateUpdated formatting should be consistent (ex. 8/12/16) We don't use the dateUpdated column. I'm not sure what we should put here, i.e. what date we'd be tracking. Should this just always be the date of the report release, so that this information is included for any OpenData downloads?
Order col should be last for now (any addt'l new cols should be appended to end to maintain expected order for application) I don't think we need the Order column included in the Explorer. apologies if it was in the spreadsheet we sent.
Cannot have non-numeric characters in columns meant to contain data (e.g. ! in Citywide Over Time) do you want us to go through and remove these? I also don't think there should have been any left... I'd like to review these if possible.
chartComment == "Notes' in the UI. Renamed and removed extra col. I noticed that we were using some column headings differently (We completely avoided using the chartComment field during our data generation/collection process). Did you change the name of the column in the UI coding or in the spreadsheet heading? We can work to be more consistent with the downloadable spreadsheets in the future.
cannot use symbols for greater/less than in indicator names we can go through and rename them
Racial Disparity
row 52, col Indicator: Achievement in 3rd Grade Thanks, fixed in CHA
Top 10
DateUpdated~~~3~~~
Can only have one 'header' column as name of locale (e.g. either row 1 OR row 2, but not both - choose the labels you'd like to appear in charts) Let's use the county names with the cities in (); but we'll need to add a note for those that are actually by city, noting that the measure is at the City not County Level. Could you do this using the City/County field?
Citywide Over Time
row 13, Adult Excessive Drinking has only one data point, so won't render a line Yes, in the CHA we're charting it with the older, historical data as another line on the graph. If we are able to do more than one line on a graph for the explorer, then we'll do that for this indicator.
two rows are missing an Order number Probably means they were added when we were down to the wire. Do we need the order column for the explorer tool?
cannot have a column 2014-15 where all other series data is whole years. Okay, will name '2014'
