[Suggestion] Better control over sneaking requirement #23
Comments
This feature is configurable in |
Hey @ChloeDawn, sorry for tagging you on this closed thread! But recently I used the mod for our server and set "ignore_sneaking" to false in the config but Couplings will still trigger despite the player sneaking. Could you please take a look on this? Thanks. Couplings-1.9.0+1.19.jar (on a Fabric 1.19 server) |
Did you set this on your client or the server? It is a client option so setting it on the server will have no effect. |
I did set this only on the server side as I didn't use the client and it seems to be the case. Since it's another topic I'll go and create a new suggestion thread or find a similar one. Thanks for answering! |
Coupling functionality is controlled by the server except for the sneaking requirement. Sneaking requirement is a per-client option to give players the choice for accessibility reasons. I agree the option itself is not very accessible. Would a keybinding be a good compromise? |
It would be useful for some builds and use cases (for example, when using trapdoors as decorations and edging) to be able to toggle doors individually by sneak+right-clicking.
This isn't always going to be other's preferences (e.g. for pvp where sneaking is important) but it'd be great to have as an option!
