As you can see, releases are quite inconsistent, but most are about 60–200 days apart. This is just an observation. I'm not saying we must have a fixed schedule.
Why release sooner?
If you look at the commit history, you can see a steady stream of PRs - there is code being added/updated. By releasing sooner, we can get better feedback on these changes. There's nightly, but that still requires a manual download for most[citation needed] users.
What's a good schedule?
Assuming the PRs stay consistent, a release every 60–80 days seems like a good target, but that's not really the point of this discussion.
Even more releases
We have a beta channel, but that's only used for 1–2 weeks before a release. Could we have a bi-weekly channel? This would be similar to nightly, except that it has less frequent updates. It should also be auto-updated similar to the beta channel. Maybe a release every other Thursday?

Chatterino releases often take long. Let's try to get the software to more users sooner.
A bit of history, starting with 2.3.0 since that's the first release on GitHub:
