Applications-of-Matlab

Course Objectives

Familiarize the student in introducing and exploring MATLAB software.

Enable the student on how to approach for solving Engineering problems using simulation tools

Prepare the students to use MATLAB in their project works.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Make use of MATLAB to perform basic operations on GUI Design.

Apply MATLAB programming skills to utilize MATLAB TOOLBOX for image processing and fuzzylogic design.

Apply MATLAB programming skills to utilize MATLAB ARDUINO Library for integrating I/O devices viz., LED, Ultrasonic sensors, stepper motor etc.

Determine individual/ team work while performing experiment.

Adapt professionalism with ethics and communicate effectively.

This course is designed to give you hands-on MATLAB Sessions which will take you from simple graphical user interface designs and arithmetic calculations to image processing and control system design using available toolboxes.

INTENDED AUDIENCE :

UG, PG and Ph. D students.

PREREQUISITES :

No prerequisites except basic mathematics and knowledge of handling operating systems like Windows

INDUSTRIES SUPPORT :

The hardware and software industries that develop state-of-the-art computational designs (say assembly line) would be benefitted from this course.

PROJECT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • ALL TEAMS MUST UPLOAD THE FINAL PROJECT IN THEIR TEAM FOLDER ON or BEFORE 25-NOV-2021

  • THE REPORT MUST INCLUDE :

  • well documented report in IEEE PAPER FORMAT

  • WELL mainatained readme file with all the correct hyperlinks to project files (codes, images, database etc.)
