This doc in Learn is really great for explaining the UI: https://github.com/CartoDB/learn/wiki/Builder-UI-Terminology

Perhaps we can copy and edit it and have it as part of the intro, I did what I call "Shaking Hands with CARTO" (https://github.com/CartoDB/carto-workshop/tree/170119-912-skanska#training-schedule) where I walk folks through the platform visually and perhaps this doc (https://github.com/CartoDB/learn/wiki/Builder-UI-Terminology) could help support a task like this more formally.
