Hi,
Issue description:
whenever i install cachyos-kde-settings, on each login i get a blackscreen with a blinking cursor in the top left for ~20seconds. After that i am in the DE and can work normally. But after 1-3minutes, i get thrown to a blackscreen, that i can not really recover. I can hear system sounds on button press, but have no picture.

I saw in a recent Blog Post, that only older NVIDIA cards should have problems with cachyos-kde-settings. But i have a 4070Ti with the newest driver on cachyos (560.35.03 (Closed))

Steps tried to resolve issue
In KDE settings, i have applied Plasma-settings to SDDM. This didn't help

System Info
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (12) @ 4.72 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
GPU Driver: 560.35.03 (Closed)
OS: CachyOS Linux x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.11.0-5-cachyos
DE: KDE Plasma 6.1.5
WM: KWin (Wayland)
WM Theme: Breeze
Theme: Breeze (Dark) [Qt], Breeze-Dark [GTK2], Breeze [GTK3/4]
Icons: breeze-dark [Qt], breeze-dark [GTK2/3/4]

As an additional information: I know that sddm has picked up my KDE settings, because my mouse sensitivity is the same as in KDE.

Thanks for all the good work on Cachy!

Mhmm. Im having too a 4070 Super, and there is all fine.

I wonder, if this comes from using Plasma 6.2. This should be pushed soon. Ill try to downgrade today to Plasma 6.1 and see if I can reproduce this.

Could you try to install "paru -S aur/sddm-git"?

Hi, i have installed sddm-git. I logged in multiple times to different users logged off, restarted (basically a stress-test for sddm). It seems to be better. I get the reported issue on approx. 10% of logins. Before that it was more than half the time. For the time being i will keep it running like this. I know that i can always revert back to the "normal" state by uninstalling cachyos-kde-settings.

As an additional information: I know that sddm has picked up my KDE settings, because my mouse sensitivity is the same as in KDE.

I would like to see other user feedback as well, if it is specific to me.

Hi, after the recent October update of CachyOs and Plasma 6.2 i have gone back to sddm from sddm-git (I don't want to be on an unstable branch) and the issue is back.

For now i have removed cachyos-kde-settings.
