Pakiti-Client2 with Server3

Hello,
I am currently evaluating pakiti for us, but one thing I don’t like so much is that the client requires Perl with some dependencies.
Then I looked at client 2, with was a bash script, and on the first view it works with server3 (only strange part is that it creates a new entry when client3 is used before)

Are this versions intended to be compatible or will this break at some point?

You can continue to use Pakiti2 clients too,we're not dropping support of the protocol from the server.
