The Yang model was downgraded to the previous version

Currently I'm having this issue：
The previously defined Yang Mode data is as follows

     module acme-foo {
         namespace "http://acme.example.com/foo";

         import my-extensions {

         }

         revision 2022-12-02 {

             "the basice yang mode version"
         }

         list interface {
             key "user";
             leaf user {

     }

Subsequent Yang Model versions added choice data， like this

     module acme-foo {

         revision 2023-01-02 {
           description
             "the second yang mode version, add western-food case"
         }

         revision 2022-12-02 {
           description
             "the basice yang mode version"
         }

                 type string;
             }

             choice food-selects {
                 mandatory true;
                 case chiness-food {
                   leaf food-name {
                     type string;
                   }
                 }
                 case western-food {
                   leaf food-name {
                     type string;
                   }
                 }
             }
         }

Currently, you need to import the configuration generated by the second Yang model (including the western-food configuration) into the first version. All configuration information encountered was lost. for example, config like this

    <western-food>western_food-00</western-food>
  </user>

this config is running one new device with the second yang data model version, now we need do import this config to one old device with the base yang data model version. after all thing finised, my configs is lost.
How to solve this problem？

I suppose you have uninstalled the new module and then installed the old one in sysrepo. Downgrade is not normally supported but you should be able to keep most of the configuration if you do

sysrepocfg -X -m acme-foo-new -o data.xml
sysrepoctl -u acme-foo-new
sysrepoctl -i acme-foo-old.yang
sysrepocfg -Idata.xml -m acme-foo-old

meaning you first back it up and then import.
