OctoPrint Setup

1) Download and Install Cura

For Creality CR-10S5, Duplicator 4, CreatBot DX:

Open Cura (Cura can be slow to load the first time)

For Taz 5 (LulzBot):

Cura LulzBot Edition download link

Note: Cura LulzBot Edition comes with the OctoPrint Connection plugin pre-installed, so skip to Step 3 after installation.

2) Install the OctoPrint Connection Plugin

Marketplace (top-right of Cura window)

Plugins > Community Plugins > OctoPrint Connection

Install (Requires exit and reload of Cura)

3) Add a Printer

Settings > Printer > Add Printer...

Add a Non-Networked Printer

Select printer from list eg. Creality > Creality CR-10S5

Review settings and click Next

4) Connect Printer to OctoPrint

Settings > Printer > Manage Printers...

Select the printer you just added and click Connect OctoPrint

Select printer (Note: Printers will not appear if your CCHS WiFi connection is set to Public)

Request API key (will take you a login for the OctoPrint server)

Log into OctoPrint and accept the request

• Username: cchs
• Password: hackmelb

Go back to Cura and click Connect

Done
