In the FOB setup in MPL, Zeiss microscope stage moves too fast, and exhibits wiggling motions when the stage stops after translating far distance. It could be due to the high acceleration values set in the microscope stage.
I opened the ZeissMTB SDK and manually decreased the acceleration and speed values of the microscope stage by ten times (to 50000 um/sec^2, 2500 um/sec), and checked "Smooth" option there. However, this modification seems not updated permanently, and shows the default values again whenever I open the ZeissMTB SDK. I am wondering whether these values can be reduced in the software at the initialization step.

The weird thing is that since we use the ZeissMTB SDK instead of directly communicating with the state via COM port, the acquisition time is 50% higher, see #113. I will check whether we can adjust the parameters of the stage. Maybe we add a "fast, but wiggly" and a "precise, but slow" mode.
