Importer V2: Using a carriage return in import meta data form field causes failure

If you enter a newline in the import metadata text area, the import fails. To the user it appears to hang on on the 'checking' part of final screen. Looking in the browser console window indicated a Javascript error because of the carriage returns I was using in my import metadata.
