To start you will need a argentx or braavos wallet. I personally use braavos. Right now loot survivor is on testnet so you would like to check out https://faucet.goerli.starknet.io/ to get testnet ETH, 0.001 ETH will be ideal for later. After you connected loot survivor to your wallet, I strongly recommend you to create an Arcade Account. It is in the middle at the top on desktop, and upper right corner on mobile with an arcade icon. The reason why I suggest it is because loot survivor is a fully on chain game. So every move you make is a transaction to the smart contract. Using arcade account will make everything smoother for the permissions of the account are tied to the contract. Game Basics: Now, you can choose your own weapon. They are the same due to the fact that the first beast you will encounter is depended on which type of weapon you choose. There are three weapon classes in the lootverse, blade, bludgeon and magic. Type in your adventurer’s name and you are good to go. A beast lurks in the shadow, prepare for battle! You can check your adventurer profile on the left hand side, and profile tab on mobile. You can see your status at the top, statistics in the middle and loots in the bottom. Status bar tells your golds, health points, levels and experinece progress bar. Statistics are broken down to 7 types, check out the table below. Stat Types
The contract is so delicately designed like this Magic/Cloth,Blade/Hide, and Bludgeon/Metal. I found it easier to remember all the efficacy this way. |

To me personally, DEXTERITY aka DEX, VITALITY aka VIT and CHARISMA aka CHA are minor stats compared to other stats. Loot survivor is a roguelike game, a game genre you would like to take down as many beasts as you can so that you snowball all the in-game resources then get a liner growth curve. Vitality comes as a tradeoff to Intelligence and Wisdom. If you can dodge the obstacles and ambushes, then 100 or 200 hp does not matter at all. But note that 200 hp is important in the mid-game, it is hard to keep the build and the dynamic meta to be honest. You are going to need around 5 points in Charisma to buy items such as tier1 weapon, first ring and necklace, and swap out Tier5 armors later. Potion prices can also be a pain in the ass in early game and has to be balanced out by certain amount of investment in charisma. After I collect all seven items, the gold I accumulated either goes to higher tier items or pay for the potions. VIT vs CHA decision making largely depends on your experience or should I say DEATH? |
