We currently do this for Mailchimp only: when a reader provides an email address by logging in, registering, or subscribing via a Newspack block, we look up that email address's subscriber status on the connected Mailchimp account and segment them accordingly if they're found to be a subscriber. We should do this for all ESPs we support in Newspack Newsletters, not just Mailchimp.
