I had the signal-app on my nokia G20 Android phone. I bought a new phone - a Samsung A55 - and tranfered the signal-app from the Nokia G20 to the new phone A55 using "Transfer from Android device". All messages/chats got transfered and receiving messages works fine.
My problem is that the formerly linked devices on my Nokia G20 (one signal Windows desktop and signal-cli on linux) did not get linked on the new phone A55. So I tried to link them to the new phone A55, but I only get the message, to end/terminate the links on the old device first (in German it exactly says "Die Kopplung auf deinem anderen Gerät beenden - Beende die Kopplung von Signal auf deinem andern Gerät." But on my old device (Nokia G20) the signal app is not active anymore and I can't unlink the linked devices there.
Is there a way to unlink all devices without the beeing able to access the old installation (on the Nokia G20)? Or can I just give a new "signal name" to the linux installation (I don't know how signal-cli creates an identifier for a host/installation and where the identifier is stored) and then link the device with a different name?
