Karen believes that her identity as a craftsperson is foundational to the work ethic embedded in the work that she does. She has presented games at Indiecade, Boston Festival of Indie Games (BFIG) and Different Games. Karen was awarded the Ralph Ericson Award for Internation Doll Sculpting and has had her work published in two doll magazines.</p>
