📣 Announcement: New Assignment Policy Implementation
Dear Community Members,
We hope you're doing well and enjoying your time contributing to our open-source project. We're constantly striving to improve our collaboration processes and ensure that everyone has a positive experience.
To that end, we're excited to announce the implementation of our new Assignment Policy. This policy is designed to streamline the process of claiming and working on issues, ensuring that contributors are actively engaged and committed to their assigned tasks.
Key Highlights of the Assignment Policy:
✅ Claim an Issue When Ready: Contributors should only claim an issue when they are ready to actively work on it.
🔄 Active Engagement: Once an issue is claimed, active engagement in its discussion and regular progress updates are encouraged.
⏳ Timely Progress: Aim to make meaningful progress within a reasonable timeframe, with regular updates on your work.
🔁 Unassignment of Inactive Contributors: Inactive contributors may have their assignments removed to allow others to contribute.
📝 Review and Feedback: Be open to feedback and suggestions from maintainers and other contributors.
We believe that this policy will create a more efficient and collaborative environment for all of us. Maintainers will be actively monitoring the implementation of this policy and ensuring that it is applied fairly and consistently.
For a detailed overview of the Assignment Policy, please refer to the README or CONTRIBUTING guidelines on our GitHub repository.
Thank you for your ongoing contributions, and we look forward to continuing to work together to improve our project!
Best regards,
