Hi, Thanks for looking into it.
Is the intention to maintain the xform stack and append to it as edits are
made? Our existing tool deals with the worldspace xforms and overrides the
stack with the intended result. It's brutal but effective for our needs.

We're evaluating using the AL plug, or a something derived from it, in our pipe and we're seeing some transforms being introduced on selection.
We're testing with Pixars kitchen set on this page: http://graphics.pixar.com/usd/downloads.html
Upon selection of the plates in the dish rack, they pop into another position. It happens for other assets in the set as well.
