Description

There are repositories that still use older versions, some of which are no longer supported:

v1 (87 repos) v2 (223 repos) v3 (1858 repos)

If I open an unsupported version (e.g., v1, v2), errors occur without any indication that the version is no longer supported:

v1-v2-errors.mov

If I open an old but still maintained version (e.g., v3), some features don't work fully and I'm not informed that I'm using an outdated version: #14448

I suggest showing different warning messages to users who are using:

  • Unsupported versions (e.g., v1, v2, v5, etc): Inform users that they cannot use Studio and must update to latest version
  • Old but still maintained versions (e.g., v3): Notify users that they may experience issues and recommend updating to the latest version for a better user experience
