SpiderMan - The Movie (2002): Cinematics do not display correctly #109
Comments
Damn modern art |
I've installed the demo to collect a trace, but it looks like the intro videos do not play at all with WineD3D. Well, to be more accurate the screen remains black and you can hear the intro audio, but there are no visuals. I got a trace with d8vk at least: Spiderman.trace.tar.xz |
Could potentially be fixed by doitsujin#3342 . Will need to retest on the next rebase. |
Unfortunately this hasn't fixed anything. Videos are still broken on latest main. |
I know on Windows this is also a problem, if you run the game at a higher resolution/any other resolution than a 4;3, the cinematics are black but you can hear the audio. |
Hello,
SpiderMan - The Movie (2002) is a directx8 game.
I try to launch it with d8vk and it works great, but the cinematics/cut-scenes in bink format do not display correctly:
I launch it with Wine 8.1 staging and DXVK 2.1

Do you think D8VK could display game's cinematics correctly?
You could make tests with demo version available here:
