Add images to a usb ssd

Hi I am new to the Raspberry Pi 4 2gb ram. Can I save images to a ssd plugged into the Usb 2 or 3. If it is possible can you tell me how to alter the code.

Several people do exactly what you want, but this is an advanced topic not discussed in the Allsky documentation and not supported by the development team.
However, at a high level you can either have /home/pi or /home/pi/allsky/images point to a location on the SSD; it's probably easier to have /home/pi point there.

I suggest asking this question on the Allsky Facebook group - I'm sure you'll find people there that are doing this.
If you are willing to share what you find, I'm happy to add it to the Allsky documentation.
