Day Time exposures resulting in File is bad and threshold exceeded

Hello.

I recently had to reinstall the allsky cam. I am on buster legacy iOS for the raspberry pi.
On starting up I am getting the following error:

It itterates through and tries to change the exposre down to 0.5us and still continues to report the threshold exceeded.

I have been and adjusted several parameters to no avail and perhaps I am missing something rather obvious: here are the setting AMERA: RPiHQ
