Overlay editor : how to change opacity of the final image ?

First of all, congratulations to the developers for the Dev Allsky version, a nice work and a lot interesting new functions.
I implemented the Dev version with the modules pistatus, OpenWeather and DewHeater without too much difficulty but today am stuck with opacity on the overlay editor.

I manage to change the opacity of texts and images in the overlay editor but the changes are not taken into account in the final image in remote or local website.

I am also not able to change some data format, using directive %0f to formats a number to 0 decimal places does not gives the expected result.
For example formatting a temperature data 37.79 with %0f directive gives a result 37.7 and not 37 as expected.

@maxip2605 Maxime, thanks for the complement. I think I speak for the team when I say we are pretty proud of the dev release and can't wait to release it. We're no longer adding new features - just doing bug fixes.

I'll let @Alex-developer answer your questions since he created the module/overlay code, which is pretty cool.

Just for clarification, I assume the opacity changes also don't show in the WebUI's Liveview? The Allsky Website's use the same image as the WebUI.

I have just pushed a change to fix the opacity on text. I fixed the opacity on images earlier this week. The various opacity settings will now give

I suspect the issue with the temperature is, I suspect down to the variable type. When adding variables the formatting will only work on 'number' type fields

Alex thank you for your answer. Do i need to reinstall Allsky software to have the opacity fix ?
I will check again data type for formatting.

The change was just to one file scripts/modules/allsky_overlay.py so you could just grab that file from the dev branch and replace the one you have
