Pb about the auto-exposure ?

Hello,
I don't know why but I think that the autoexposure doesn't start during the day.
The exposure is always the same. I use a RPI HQ camera.

Do I need something ?
I live in France, do you think these parameters isn't correct ?

No problem during the night.

@Frankastro85 Frank, Are you sure you want to use -1 for Angle? That means nighttime begins shortly after the sun sets, when it's still light outside. Most people use around -6.

Your other settings look ok. Please see the Wiki page on Reporting Problems and follow its instructions, then post the log file here and I'll take a look. If the daytime exposure is always 500 us and the date/time changes, then something in the settings is keeping the exposure constant. I'll be able to tell by the log file.

On the RPi HQ camera, we suggest turning on both daytime and nighttime auto-exposure AND auto-gain. You'll need to display Advanced options by clicking on the yellow button at the bottom of the page.

I'll check but I think the daytime is always 500us.

I have the same issue as @Frankastro85 with the exposure for day time stuck at 500us.
It seems that for day time, even when auto exposure is enabled, it is not "Max Auto-Exposure" which is considerd but the "Manual Exposure" (you must enable "Show advanced options" to see it). By default "Manual Exposure" is set to 0.5 which correspond to the 500us of exopsure we get. By increasing "Manual Exposure" to 1000, I have was able to get good exposure time for day time pictures. The first picture is taken with 1s exposure time and then slowly decrease automaticaly to the correct exposure time.

Sorry about that. I forgot about the bug where the manual exposure is actually the max exposure. To work around it set the manual exposure to what you want the max to be.
This is fixed in the next release.

@EricClaeys I'm not sure but I think the nightime manuel gain is the max during the autogain like the exposure.
