Is the ASI678MC a supported camera in latest release?

It will be supported in the next Allsky release, which uses the latest ZWO drivers.

Hi. Pardon the intrusion. I was wondering if you have any update for this next release? I'm trying the ZWO ASI678MC as the Allsky camera. I tried drivers I saw in another posting, but then saw this one. TIA!

@Jquitadamo you didn't intrude. It's a perfectly good question. The next release will support that camera.

Thank you for the quick response. Just curious, do you have a ballpark time frame when you plan to roll it out? If not, I'll just check back periodically. Thanks again!

@chrisflory Sorry, just realized I had the wrong login for me reply.
I'm hoping to have the next release out by the end of Feb.
In the meantime, if you are comfortable doing the following, you can get support now:

sudo systemctl stop allsky
cd ~/allsky/src/lib/armv7
mv libASICamera2.a libASICamera2.a-ORIGINAL
# move the attached file to this directory and rename it to   libASICamera2.a
cd ../..
make capture
cp capture ..
sudo truncate -s 0 /var/log/allsky.log
sudo systemctl start allsky
# Wait a few seconds, then:
grep SDK /var/log/allsky.log     # see if it returns 1.20 or 1.26

This will create an updated "capture" command with the new ZWO library.
