If I only have a few darks will they get used for all temperatures?

Subject header sums it up. I'm playing with my allsky set up again using bin2 with my asi178. I'm making darks inside the house. They are going to be warmer than the conditions tonight. I have some hot pixels I need to map out.

Thank you. I see someone recently asked a similar question.

I'm running an ASI 178 camera and the images have been dimmer than I would like. I switched to bin2 to increase sensitivity. That seems to trigger hot pixels that I don't see at bin1.

Somewhere along the way, I forgot to turn on dark frame subtraction in config.sh . I saw that in the wiki. The last time I did a rebuild I must have missed that.

Looking at Subtract.sh, I see how you use convert from Imagemagick to do the subtraction. I used convert with a frame from last nights data to see how much dark frame subtraction helps. It helps a lot.

Camera is cooling down in the freezer right now (suggestion in the wiki) I'll be making a set of darks in a few minutes.

@Clutch57 If you change the binning or maximum exposure you'll need to take new darks - that's probably why you see hot pixels at 2x2 but not 1x1. I suggest keeping your current darks just in case you decide to go back to 1x1.
