Case study: Production of rubber tiles

The different steps of the production of rubber tiles, presented in (this video) are described.
1. Pourring of the granulates into a mixing apparatus
2. Pourring of the binder with the granulates
3. After a mixing time, pouring of the mixture into a mould
4. Equalization of the surface
5. A wooden plate, with the size of the rubber tile, is placed above the mould
6. The system is put under pressure in an hydraulic press, to densify the tile and enhance its mechanical resistance
7. After a setting time, the tile is removed from the mould
