Please consider adding a feature that writes a message to the log when a tamed rat dies. As you know taming, breeding and upgrading rats is fun, but it very frustrating when they mysteriously vanish. Thank you.

Death messages are already logged to chat the same way vanilla tamed animals are. If your rats are disappearing and theres no message logged theres something else at play here, most likely some mod conflict thats causing them to be removed when you get far enough away from them. This issue has haunted me for a long time and I dont know whats causing it
