Note: On El Capitan with JDK 1.8u92 sources, you will need binutils 2.26 instead of binutils 2.24; more details are here: https://gist.github.com/tinkerware/5235deb4bacc8ea3d7bc9c3d3972e453

Note: On Java 9 there is no longer a jre directory so the hsdis binary should be copied to:

on OSX: /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.9.0.jdk/Contents/Home/lib/server/

on Linux: jdk1.9.0/lib/amd64/server/
