Our club has sponsors, who are members (or were members - no longer a member or deceased). I generate sponsor call lists to ensure we keep in contact with new members. Currently, the sponsor is a manual text field on the profile...as you can imagine, the names may not be 1:1 with how the sponsors are in the system.
I've attempted to use a "relationship" type "sponsor", but it does not show on the category report, which builds our external views (Google Sheets) which we print for our older members who are less tech savvy.
In an ideal world, the system would export to PDF the various "lists" that are created in Google Sheets. This would entail creating a "report formula" or in dev terms a query (albeit, some are more complex than others) to line up with the various filtered data we have. The data includes such items as "former members" from certain roles for activities like membership reactivation.
Describe the solution you'd like
Relationship that would show up in the Category Report and links to other members profiles (does not need to be a hyperlink) via a dropdown list.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using the existing relationships, but this does not easily export to the category report. I'm not interested in all relationships, just the Sponsor relationship in this export. Dues are based on family relationships (first is full price, others half-price).
