The issuer can optionally set an expiration time. If the expiration time elapses, the contract

Contract changes: time condition can be implemented here
Frontend changes:

minting: present the option
inventory: display the time remaining
redeem: indicate the time remaining or explain why it can't be redeemed
Backend changes: none
