I tested it using:

Most commands do not work with git bash while MobaXterm or Galaxy Ubuntu XFCE Desktop seem to work quite well.

On the content itself:

  • It is not a course on Linux bash but on how to use a "Linux server" so in that sense I do not see the point of doing it on my laptop. I would not use 1/3 of what is taught on my laptop.
  • it is very hard to follow because it is a list of commands without much context (there is no storyline).
