Photon Workshop creates a bad .{pws,photon,photons} file for this STL file #8

I downloaded https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4210770 and tried to print it.

Photon workshop correctly imports the STL file into the viewer, displays it, allows me to add supports, renders, etc.

However, after slicing, the preview (and resultant photon files) prints the center oval in the chair as a solid object that spans the entire height of the object no matter what settings/configs I try.

I HAVE THIS SAME EXACT PROBLEM WITH ANOTHER MODEL ITS SO ANNOYING
