Fat PS4 (CHU -1216A) always shuts down when using PPPWn with Pico Mini B on FW11.00. Every release of the PPPwn tried. #93
Comments
As luck would have it, I'm happy to report that a reinstall of the firmware did the trick. After the reinstall I had no shutdowns in 18 jailbreaks. Time differs from a few seconds to a few minutes, but all attempts were successful. Wires are soldered correctly as it works fine (for those who believe you have to hack open the ethernet port). Thanks and have a good one! |
Good to hear, btw which "seconds" part was changed? |
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question. The "seconds" I'm referring to, are the ones that take for the jailbreak to be done. Sometimes it is fast, sometimes it takes a few minutes. |
I'm going at this in the next couple of hours. Where did you install the Pico Mini B itself, and how did you route the wires? Have you any more pics, as a picture tells a thousand words as is said. |
Hi there! I hope this helps. Good luck! |
i face lots of Hard Shutdown on many Slims. Which Firmware did you reinstall? Ps4 firmware or luckfox Firmware? |
I'm sorry to hear that. I reinstalled the PS4 firmware. |
Taking advantage of your topic, I'm having some problems related to the JB on my PS4 PRO. I was using a Raspberry 3b to successfully do the JB, but I had a problem with the network cable connector that stopped working. In view of this, I bought a Luckfox Pico mini B, and I noticed that it has been taking a long time to do the JB and activate Golden Hen, and that I'm having a lot of forced shutdowns, in very simple tasks, such as closing a game and opening another one right after. I'm using PPPwn-Luckfox in version 1.2.2 because it's the only version that works with the WEB SEVER configuration. I've already reinstalled the PS4 system but it keeps giving me the same errors. |
please use the latest pre-build image, and let me know if it works. |
Could you provide us with some footage while you were editing? |
Hi everyone.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I've seen the posts related to this issue, but since weeks have passed, maybe there's a solution out there now.
I installed a Luckfox Pico Mini following MODDED WARFARE's tutorial (this is the 3rd PS4, but the first "fat" one, as the two others were PROs and worked flawlessly).
I've tried every released version (minimal and web) for weeks, dozens of tests with all the options available (IPv4, old IPv6, new IPv6, nn9dev, changing SPRAY_NUM and CORRUPT_NUM... etc) but I just got one successful JB with 0x1iii1ii (I base the conclusion that the LuckFox is installed correctly on this one successful attempt). The usual result is a hard shutdown, that requires checking the HDD.
I've tried 0x1iii1ii and harsha-0110 PPPwn-Luckfox, with the same results.
WebUI works fine on harsha-0110 with http://10.1.1.1, but the 0x1iii1ii version of the web server is not available at http://192.168.1.1, nor any other IP I tried.
Here are some pictures of the installation, in case I'm missing something.
Yellow => TX+ | Green => TX- | Blue => RX+ | Red => RX-
Is there anything that I can do about it?
Thanks!
